Less than half the population below 60 in the UK are Christians. It is time to get the bishops out of the lords, time to stop the unchallenged religious propaganda on BBC radio, time to remove compulsory worship from our schools, and time to stop the discrimination exercised by the state-funded faith schools. In fact, as less than half the country's children can benefit from them, all state financial support for faith schools needs to be removed. There is now no case for continuing any of these outdated privileges.
